In the last 35 days I have purchased a total of $10,100.67 worth of retail value of groceries, health & beauty aids, medicines, etc for a grand total(cash out of my pocket) of $546.88. I have, in hand, $53.31 in Publix giftcards(left from RX transfers, we have a lot), $105 in Walgreens Register Rewards/gift cards, $46 in Cvs ECB's/gift cards, $8.50 in Food Lion money, $30 in EBAY giftcards(for buying coupons) and (13) $3 meat catalinas from Kroger...so $39 worth of FREE meat coming to our deep freeze soon...
So, if I deduct that, I have only spent $295.00 !! for about 5 weeks, for a family of 5 is about $59 pr week...Not to mention I have a stockpile that only God could help me create/distribute. As I post this messages on "tithing", I know that it will be a tough subject for some, especially in today's economy...But, I want to point out, as our Pastor Johnny has said many times, we are not in the worlds economy, but in God's....so true! I can't press this enough. You want and need more income(as we all do), and have not begun tithing yet, then try it...I KNOW God will reward your efforts, just test Him with this, as He said....
We tested Him for the first time over 6 yrs ago and Oh, my...as I said, I could talk for hours about this and all the Blessings we have received....LOVE to everyone and feel free to message me if you need ANY help...:)
Update on 03-10-10:
My total retail value of merchandise is $16,693.15 for a grand total of $828.16 out of pocket...about 10 wks into the year...avg less than $83 pr wk for a family of (5)...
