I have had questions asked of me as to why I started coupon shopping. Well, the answer is easy. I am a tight-wad and I love freebies. Maybe growing up and not having a lot money helped me become that way. But, I can't see being any other way now. I have not respected God's blessings in the past with my money. I used to think that using a coupon was not worth my time or too much trouble. I was afraid of what people might think of me. I would go to the grocery store and come home with 1-2 bags and spend $40. Now, if I spend that I am coming home with a car load...lol... I know it is not easy at first. Nothing worth winning is. Up until 4 days ago I had no idea about blogging. I did the same thing. I allowed that enemy spirited voice in my head to take control. But, in just a little under a week I have learned so much. I have been, as my sister say's "eating that elephant, one bite at a time". God said that He would give us power to obtain wealth. Deuteronomy 8:18 "But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day"
Wealth comes in many forms. Having enough groceries stockpiled for months of meals, to me, is a form of wealth. Think of all the money you can save if you are stocked on items you use. I don't place my security in that, but, being secure with the Lord and His promises has given that to me. Thanks for reading and check back soon...
Blessed with His grace and mercy~~
